The Brandon Community Orchestra is a member-run, amateur orchestra located in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada.

Our season typically features rehearsals every Saturday from September to May, at the Brandon University School of Music. Our concert series includes an annual feature at the Brandon City Hall holiday open house, and a spring gala performance that showcases our talents and provides an opportunity to feature musical guests in collaboration. We also travel to other Manitoba communities to bring our performances to a wider audience. Our music covers the orchestral range from classical to new music, musical theatre, and cinematic scores. We also work with composers in Western Manitoba to bring new compositions to life.

Our 2020-21 season will follow a different path with limited gatherings. See the Join Us section for more information about fall 2020 gatherings.

Many thanks for our 2019-20 conductor, Josias Sanchez, who brought an immense musical sensitivity to his leadership of our group, along with a depth of expertise in string specialization that allowed our violins, violas, cellos and basses to soar in new ways. We were thrilled to work with him and wish him all the best in his musical leadership in Edmonton.
